The returned transcript may also be processed by the backend for formatting or summarisation.
Transcription is not fully offline — audio is sent to the server for processing. You can avoid this feature if you do not want audio to leave your device.
Audio is processed using HTTPS/TLS and is not retained beyond what is necessary to return the transcript.
Subscriptions and purchases
Subscriptions are processed exclusively by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. The developer does not process or store payment information.
Scribai reads your subscription status locally to unlock paid features and restore purchases.
Apple's privacy policy governs all App Store transactions.
Analytics and tracking
Scribai does not include third-party analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, or tracking libraries.
No behavioural data is sold to third parties.
Data sales
The developer does not sell personal data. No personal information is shared with advertisers or data brokers.
Children
Scribai is not directed at children under 13. The developer does not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated from time to time. Significant changes will be reflected by a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of Scribai after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
