What is Equitly
Equitly lets you track your assets, liabilities, portfolio, and net worth over time. All your personal financial data is stored locally on your device. Equitly is published by Alejandro Ahijado Ibarra, an independent developer.
What stays on your device
All personal financial data you enter — including accounts, assets, liabilities, balances, and net worth history — is stored exclusively on your device.
This data is never transmitted to the developer or any third party.
No user account or registration is required to use Equitly.
The developer has no access to your financial data at any time.
No bank connections
Equitly does not connect to your bank, brokerage, or any other financial institution.
Equitly does not handle, request, or store any banking credentials, tokens, or login information.
You enter your financial data manually.
Market price data
To display current market values for assets in your portfolio (such as stocks, ETFs, or other securities), Equitly fetches price data from third-party market data providers.
These requests contain only asset identifiers (such as ticker symbols) — never your name, account details, or any personal financial information.
Market price requests are made directly from your device to the data provider. The developer does not act as an intermediary for these requests and does not log or store them.
The third-party provider's own privacy policy governs how they handle these requests.
PDF export
Equitly can generate PDF reports of your financial data.
PDFs are created entirely on your device. No financial data is sent to any server during this process.
Exported files are saved to your device or shared through the system share sheet, entirely at your discretion.
Purchase
Equitly is sold as a one-time purchase through the Apple App Store using StoreKit 2.
All payment processing is handled exclusively by Apple. The developer does not receive, process, or store any payment card or billing information.
Apple's privacy policy governs all App Store transactions.
Analytics and tracking
Equitly does not include third-party analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, or tracking libraries.
No behavioural, usage, or device data is collected, profiled, or sold.
Equitly contains no advertising of any kind.
iCloud and backups
If you have iCloud Backup enabled on your device, your locally stored Equitly data may be included in Apple's standard device backup.
This is governed by Apple's privacy policy, not this policy.
The developer does not operate any iCloud-based sync or storage for Equitly.
Data sales
The developer does not sell personal data. No personal or financial information is shared with advertisers, data brokers, or any third party.
Children
Equitly is not directed at children under 13. The developer does not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated from time to time. Significant changes will be reflected by a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of Equitly after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
